See I don't want to come off weirdly to any prospective or current RP partners by admitting to ship biases with my BG3 ladies like I'm possibly forcing ships or something. Because I am not at all intending to force ships and view the events of my BG3 playthroughs like romances as entirely separate from things that happen in RPs.

But also I just have to ramble at least a little about why I ship Lae'zel and Raven and it's just.

Two women, raised in violent and harsh societies, both taught they had to rely on themselves, had to be strong, couldn't afford to be vulnerable. One who was taught anyone around her could stab her in the back at a moment's notice, the other whom was raised to be a soldier from birth. Both in societies forged by a powerful woman who uses those below them for their own ends.

Two women like that who then come together and come to trust each other, learn they can be vulnerable with one another, that they can keep each other safe, rely on each other in ways they never thought they could ever rely on someone for.

It being a dramatic bard and a grumpy soldier is the cherry on top.

It'd absolutely be the slowest burn to ever grace Faerun, and yet the prospect just sounds so good.

(Also will mention this similarly applies to Minthara as oh god two women from the same horrid society possibly finding in each other trust and safety they've never had before... very good stuff.)

While researching Mando'a for a fic, I found out that Mandalorians call droids 'Beskar'ad' and it's just thE CUTEST THING EVER!

In Mando'a, Beskar means iron and ad means son/daughter... so droids are literally iron sons/daughters and I just:

Stan is so confused because like. Shermie is his brother. He knows Shermie is his older brother. Everytime someone mentions Stan's brother they're obviously talking abut Shermie. Right? So why is Shermie calling up Stanford (how does Shermie know Stanford exists? So why does his brother Shermie somehow know who Stanford is? Does he know Stanley stole this random dude's identity? Except, no, Shermie thinks Stanford is his brother, which is super weird. And Stan is so absolutely baffled about this whole thing that he finds himself agreeing to Shermie's request before he can think through "taking care of a couple of kids for an entire summer"
